BJ Services Company is a global operation comprised of engineers, technicians and business professionals which provide support oil and gas operations around the world.

The company is currently located in Tomball, Texas and recently began construction of a Research and Technology Center adjacent to the current location.  The new facility illustrated below is a three-story building with 108,000 square feet of space.  The building will serve as the primary BJ training center and as the Chemical Research and Development facility.  When fully operational, more than 135 employees and trainers will office out of the complex.  BJ Services will also use the facility for technical discussions and technology demonstrations, conducting tours more than 200 days a year.

With the idea of constructing a high-tech state of the art facility, it would require a “jazzy” feel the moment visitors drove onto the premises.  BJ Services contracted RPM to design and install a technology security system that would provide this image.

The system installed by RPM included the utilization of access control, CCTV and intrusion detection.  The access control system is comprised of the Hirsh product line and includes keypads with a random number display pad.  Each time a code is input into the keypad, the numbers change position as to reduce the possibility of code theft by employees or visitors.

High resolution dome mounted cameras are installed both in the parking lot areas and the exterior of the building.
